“Both my wife and I have been fortunate enough to visit the project in South Africa and we were struck by the dedication and love of both the staff and volunteers who are fulfilling a vital role in this part of the country. We have seen at firsthand how the community is being brought together with the help of childcare and education to help bring people out of poverty and give them hope for the future.”
“Their commitment to excellence and to addressing need in the Sweetwaters community is noteworthy, and we feel confident in the governance and structure of this organisation. iThemba Projects is further, an organisation that regularly assesses and improves upon the work that they are doing in an attempt to reach their stated goals and objectives. It is for these reasons that we support the work in any way that we can.”
“We as Nobanda Primary School and the school Governing Body would like to thank you for your tremendous initiative and effort you have shown in our school. Your different skills in assisting our Grade R in teaching and learning and the confidence you have built in our pupil. Not forgetting the food parcels which is delivered every month. Your support and love is very much appreciated.”
“iThemba Projects have been using our property for a number of years now to run their children’s camp for the children of Sweetwaters. I would just like to say that these camps are run extremely well. The staff and volunteers put a lot of time and effort not only while the camp is in progress but the forethought that goes into these camps is amazing.
Every last detail is catered for, from the time the children arrive until the time they leave. The activities are education and fun and the children are entertained and cared for 24 hours a day whilst they are here. The level of caring and attention that these children receive during these camps is extremely high and it is a pleasure hosting these camps.
I would like to commend Stuart and Sam Walker for their dedication to these children and to the camps that can only be described as phenomenal.”
