BIBLE STUDIES

The need for these groups developed out of Jabulani Kids Club. Due to the large numbers of children attending Jabulani Kids Club on a Saturday, we found it vital that we develop another meeting point with the children where they could be nurtured and discipled effectively. These groups have proven to be incredibly effective and worthwhile, and we thank the Lord for the open homes of people in the community to have us come and share the Gospel with their children.

At present there are 4 groups meeting in homes of children in Sweetwaters. Syvion and Donald are involved in leading these groups, which meet on weekday afternoons once the children have finished school.

Again, as we are trying to build relationships with the children, we do also enjoy some fun activities with them. We bring the children to the church and bake with them or have craft mornings with them. These are a bucket load of fun!

There are currently in excess of 80 children involved in these groups.  There is a great need for further groups to be formed, and it is the intention of iThemba Projects to employ additional staff and recruit further volunteers for this work.
